Tourist train through the vineyards

For those with little legs who are reluctant sightseers, a trip in a little train can be the ideal way to discover the vineyards. Those surrounding the medieval town of Saint-Emilion are well suited to this type of journey and here, the train departs on its 35 minute round-trip up to 10 times per day. With a circuit bordering the most famous vineyards, it travels at an unhurried pace past classified châteaux and offers a panoramic view of the countryside. If the sight of vines makes you thirsty, there is also the possibility to stop for a wine tasting en route.
