Cottages & Gîtes in
Bordeaux's vineyard

Recent years has seen investment by châteaux of all levels in guest houses, designed to appeal to holidaymakers and wine lovers alike. The sloping vineyards around Saint-Emilion lend themselves to this type of development and those properties who have cottages in their first growth vineyards, have a commensurate price tag.

Renovated cottages of Entre-deux-Mers châteaux have resulted in attracting wedding parties to the region but the quality of the wines and accessibility to Bordeaux means that they are also a good draw for families. Gîtes in the Médoc vary from 19th-century to modern style, some offering table d’hôte in the evening.
